Common Bluetooth transfer problems
Bluetooth file sharing varies by operating system and device. A phone may find headphones immediately but still lack a straightforward way to send a file to a particular laptop.
Browser pairing gives both devices one consistent workflow and is useful when discovery fails, the devices are outside short Bluetooth range, or the operating systems do not expose compatible file-sharing controls.

What the devices need instead
Each device needs a supported modern browser and internet access to reach SendIt and its relay. The devices do not need to share a local account, cable, Bluetooth profile, or cloud folder.
Because SendIt uses a relay rather than Bluetooth, connection metadata and transfer size remain visible for routing and abuse prevention even though the transfer content is encrypted.

Common questions
Do the devices have to be next to each other?
No. PIN pairing can connect devices that are not within Bluetooth range. Both devices still need internet access.
Is this a peer-to-peer Bluetooth transfer?
No. SendIt encrypts content in the browser and routes the encrypted data through its relay.
Can it work across different operating systems?
Yes. SendIt is designed for browser-to-browser transfers across phones, laptops, tablets, and desktops.
